Hero Tree
Snacks for Soldiers

Each year, we host two collection programs for deployed troops. Annually, from September 11 through November 11, our Hero Tree collection begins. The Hero Trees are displayed in local businesses, schools, fraternal organizations, restaurants and offices. Each tag on the tree has a gallon reuseable bag attached with a list of personal hygiene supplies and essentials needed. Once the bags are collected, they are delivered to area Blue Star Mothers chapters (Operation Jersey Cares in NJ), where the bags are shipped to deployed troops at the holidays on our behalf.
